The first vintage of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG from the Caparzo company dates back to 1970; at the time there were only 13 existing wineries in Montalcino, including Caparzo, and this figure places the company among the historic ones in the production of Brunello. The particularity of this Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is certainly linked to the origin of the Sangiovese; cultivated in vineyards located in different geographical areas of the production area, its cultivation allows you to make the most of the different microclimates and terroirs present in Montalcino. The grapes harvested in the vineyards distributed throughout the area are then carefully selected so as to create the conditions for a complex wine, capable of preserving all those characteristics that make Brunello one of the most appreciated wines in the world.
